Sunniguana of the Royal Poincianas

Sunni seemed like an appropriate
name for this glorious looking iguana
that perched and sunned in the
highest branches of our Royal Poinciana
tree for several days.
His huge size and weight eventually
were too much for the fragile branches
and from the evidence on the ground
(broken branch and crushed bushes)
I assume he recovered and hurried off to
find a more suitable perch.
Certainly was a joy having Sunni here
and the entire neighborhood is still
checking the treetops to see if he returns.
